You're creating an argument and point I'm not trying to make. Obviously, not every developer hates Nintendo. I never even mentioned the word "hate" in any of my posts. But Nintendo created a perfect situation by trampling developers for a long period of dominance that led to Sony entering the market and watching developers flock to their new system because they were a new, and more open, option for games. Shit, the Playstation itself wouldn't even exist if not for Nintendo dicking over Sony.

What major third party franchise released first on the N64 once developers realized that Sony was more willing to deal with them and wouldn't push them around? Why didn't the N64 get RE? Why did it get a cheap port of RE2 after it sold like gangbusters on the PS? Why didn't it get another RE game until 2002?

And, most importantly, why didn't many of the major SNES franchises carry over to the N64? It's not as if the system sold poorly when it released.
