Requiring 50+% of answers to be correct works in school systems. But games aren't pupils, so it's not as simple to judge them. A lot of it is subjectivity on the reviewer's part whereas a teacher has the simple task to make the decision between right and wrong. If I used a scale like the one you showed, then the vast majority of games that I review would be within 20 points of each other, making it hard for the reader to decide what is and what is not worth buying, because the displayed differences would be miniscule.

Same thing as in school if a publisher put the time and effort to make a game and doesn't give a broken product by default they will receive a 50+%.

Now where they get higher mark, that's all base on fun and the reviewer criteria’s. Since, Gaming is a hobby and meant to be fun ....Reviewer should have similar review base on how well did the developer deliver on this promise given the genre of the game.

You are giving us a review.... If you can't predict your reader expectation don’t give us a review.
