I dislike quick cash in's so i'm not crazy about them. I think games like Tomb raider, sleeping dogs and the last of us didnt need remasters. I didnt play GTA5, but it doesnt look like it was necessary.
With that said, there are games that were bottlenecked by the previous hardware to such a point that a remaster would make the games alot better. By this i mean games that were impaired by severe loafing times or frame rate dips that constantly harmed the flow of the game, but were forgiven because the games were so good. Examples are Mass Effect series, Elder scrolls series, DmC and Fallout series. These games with no or almost instant loading times and stable frame rates would yield experiences alot better than the original versions did and would definitly be worth a second purchase from fans.
