What?

At first i wasn't sure if you were serious or not, 'cause i didn't read anything until i saw the ND. Now i know you are serious and i can't wrap my head around it.
So everyone is getting Kirby in February and Europe is getting it only in the second-half?

Again:  0_0?!?

So, Europe gets Captain Toad in January and the rest of the world gets Kirby in February. That means 1 game out in the 1Q and in the second we all get Splatoon. Which could meananything from March until May.

If that's Nintendo's strategy for the first half, good luck lifting Wii U's sales next year!   :(

Calm down, they never said the direct would feature literally every game releasing in the first half of next year. I think it's very likely we see another direct in January that goes over the entire Q1-Q2 lineup. Something like this seems plausible.

Wii U-New info/trailers for Kirby Rainbow Curse/Yoshi's Woolly World/Mario Maker/Splatoon

3DS-New 3DS western reveal, new info/trailers for Majora's Mask/Codename Steam/Xenoblade/Monster Hunter 4

To be fair, i went to the Nintendo webpage and consulted the NDs from late 2013.
There was one in December that covered the games coming out in the coming months: Donkey Kong TP, Mario Kart 8, Dr. Luigi, NES Remix and Hyrule Warriors was shown for the first time.
So, with the exception of HW, all the other titles did come out up yo January, with MK 8 being the one who got released last.

Come February and we got the ND that covered games coming out up to Spring.
Wii U got no new games, as expected but got a trailer for B2 that would come out 8 months later. Also, the trailer for Little Mac.

This last ND was about the games coming out this year and in the first months of the next year.
So, they showed Captain Toad (coming out in January in Europe), Kirby (coming out in the second semester in Europe) and Splatoon, releasing in the 2Q.
I'm not saying they got nothing else, but why show Splatoon, that is slated for 2Q - which really isn't the first months of 2015 - and not show a video for Mario Maker, Yoshi and Project Giant Robot? These games are 1st half like Splatoon, so why not show them aswell?

This is what i find concerning: if the games are in the final months of production they could surely release more footage.

I sincerely hope that the next ND reveals that all of them are still slated for 1st half, even if that means, releasing one per month starting March. Because if we get another bare 1st half like in 2013 and 2014, there's no way that they can get Wii U sales up to GC levels.
