I'm gonna have to heave a big sigh of relief here--reading the whole article, he goes into extreme detail about why he speicifically DOES NOT hate Resident Evil 5. And that's coming from a black person. That proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the game is not racist.

With regard to Gears of War, it is true--every character is stereotyped. There's the steroid-infused main character who swears all the time and shoots crap, the dickhead commander he doesn't listen to, the ass-saving sidekick, the black guy who can take on 20 guys by himself, the girl at command who feeds intel from behind the scenes, and the guy who hates everybody (including said main character) but is still bound by duty.
