Exactly.  If anything, I expect them to eventually clarify that the mainstays of the system will work on both going forward (Pokemon, Monster Hunter) and the New 3DS will focus on enhancing those games and providing new ones (like Xenoblade).  But they'll probably not even mention it.

I don't think they will even talk about it at all.
Most likely, they will save all that talk to the next fiscal year and release the console in the summer.
