For those who played it. How would you describe the game difficulty? Is it challenging? Does it require skills? Does it get easier as you unlock new abilities or harder as the enemies get smarter? Is using complex combos necessary or the basic combos would do just fine?
Thanks in advance.

(I hate when I don't find my answers in the reviews)

If you play the game on 2nd or 3rd Climax (I'd recommend 3rd if you've ever played action fighters before), the game will gradually ramp up difficulties and enemy types. It will be fairly easy enemies at first that have very obvious tells and slow attack patterns, eventually they'll start introducing buffers/debuffers as enemy units, then faster enemies, etc. Its a very well crafted difficulty curve that gradually inflates in terms of general enemies and minor bosses. There are, however, several boss-only chapters which are skill checks and are about your ability to properly time your evades and not just button mash combos.

Infinite Climax, which is the hardest difficulty, is Nintendo Hard and requires perfect execution against even just trash enemies.
