It seems that Microsoft have obviously given Namco a bung to sign an exclusivity deal with them for say the next 2 years or so.
What is surprising, is if the games coming out are aimed at the Japanese market when they have so little units sold in that market....maybe this is their last chance to make a claim at selling more units in the far east.
Also, it's not surprising considering the small number of PS3's at home at the moment. It could work with Namco i.e. by the time the deal expires, the PS3 will have a bigger base and then they can produce games for them, and if the PS3 fails miserably, then they continue where they are.
Prediction (June 12th 2017)
Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)
PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)
