I don't do a lot of online gaming, but when I do generally when someones being a massive prick, either I or someone else will give him crap for it. I'm also sick of so many people treating women like they're fragile, helpless creatures that'll shatter like fine China at a few errant words. Most girls I've played with give as much as they take, just like everyone else.

Could gamers be a more friendly and welcoming bunch? Absolutely. And some communities are. However, making a huge fuss about so called "misogyny" in the games industry while painting everyone with a broad brush and trying to institute(force) change on a massive scale is only going to give the common offenders a persecution complex and cause them to feel justified in their own douchebaggery.

I couldn't agree more.
