how does battlemode team work ? last guy to stay alive for the team gets 1 point or what ? I'm jealous did you get import copy?

Battle mode is completely new and works as follows.

On both modes, you're in a team of 6 people, fighting another team. Balloon Battle is like an FPS team deathmatch: every hit gives your team a point, and when time runs out, the team with the most points wins. You can also see the amount of points each individual scored, so you're also semi-competing to get the most hits within your team. If you lose all three balloons, you lose a point, but you're allowed to play on.

Coin Runners sees you first collecting the coins scattered around the stage. In no time, they've gone scarce, and you have to hit players from the opposing team to make them drop their coins so you can steal them (-3 for each hit, which I think is rather much - it makes battles a little random, because the balance can shift dramatically within ten seconds). Again, you just play on until time runs out, and each team's individual scores are also displayed.

And no, I didn't get an import copy - I got the real, European thing. I just walked into the store, and a friend asked if it was still possible to pre-order the game, just to make sure he could buy it at that exact store - he had some credit there. And they just said: 'Yeah, but why not take it with you right now?'. Turns out they were just unpacking their latest supplies, which included MKWii, and they were completely willing to sell them even two days before the official launch. Of course I jumped on it, and before I knew it, I was the very first MKWii buyer of that store - maybe even the first one in my city!

Before long, I'll finally fix my internet connection (that's why I didn't tell you about online - I can't go online!) and see you guys out there! But beware - I've got at least two more days of practice than most of you...
