How about this? Compare R&C with NinjaBreadman or RE4 with Escape from Bug Island. I mean, they are essentially from the same genre, right?

Is that all you read of that article? Anyways, they weren't comparing those two games. Jeez. They were simply saying that some people who play Rock Band, or Guitar Hero, or Hannah Montana might not really be considered "gamers" since if all they play is one of those, that's hardly different than being a musician (for the first two games).

 I've scanned through it. People who play "rock band" and people who play Hannah Montana game have almost nothing in common.

Not only they are on mostly difference consoles, I would consider "rock band" as a hardcore game base on its gameplay and the 160 dollars commitment. Hannah Montana was simply a quick cash-in game.
