I think your nitpicking the games.

Zelda, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade Chronicles, Exclusives like Bayonetta or Devil's Third, are those still for only kids to you  because they are on Nintendo?

Do you don't notice that Nintendo is bringing all this series every generation.
Zelda came to every Nintendo console since the NES. Zelda series is dead! (ok, now i will 100% be banned)
