yes edge does seem to be tough critics, much like eurogamer... I just think they make fools of themselves when they slap a 6 on a game that Millions of people is going to love.
I think reviewer take their own opinion too much into consideration. They need to take it out of their mental context and review it by how much they think the average gamer would enjoy it.. Reviewers are not average gamers...
What is kinda funny... for sports games I would rather read a review for CNNSi, or some other mainstream outlet...
That is unless I know the reviewer is into sports games. But most reviewers are FPS, RTS, or RPG type guys.
