If I just could choose between old and new I would prefer old IPs at the moment - like Metroid, WaveRace, ExciteTruck, Pilotwings, and F-Zero.
But actually everyone should say both. They just need much higher games output.
But when I see that they have not even closely as many workers as e.g. Ubisoft (according to wikipedia - Nintendo had about 5k in 2012, while ubisoft has got over ninethousaaaaaaaand in 2014) then I really can understand why the game-output is so "low" ... actually its pretty damn impressive for such a small company.
