Got mine a day early too ^____^

I completely agree with T013 and am baffled by IGNs previews. I wouldn't say the tracks are overly wide, the Wii Wheel is actually pretty cool, there's no more item killage than past MK games and the Kart/Bikes don't appear to move particularly slow.

So far I've tried 50cc, 100cc and 150cc on the first few cups as well as online battle mode. Since T013 covered most of that I'll just mention online.

The online is easily the best Wii wifi mode so far. To battle randomly you select Friend, Worldwide or Continent (like DS), then you wait for an available battle. In the 2 I tried I watched the last few seconds of matches already taking place then joined in. You're put into teams and then choose a stage, the game then chooses which stage you play much like the DS game. The first was a balloon battle in block plaza. It's pretty much what you'd expect. You're placed into teams then you try to burst each others balloons. I had no lag at all in the entire match. The second battle was against 4 Japanese players on Thworp (is that what the giant stomping rock is called?) Desert. That stage was pretty cool. A giant rock stomps in the centre of the stage sending shockwaves around the rim. You have to avoid cactuses and of course the giant rock while dodging shells/bananas etc. Again there was no lag and it was a lot of fun. Oh and on a final note (I don’t know if someone mentioned this), you get a 5,000 points that increase/decrease when you win or loose, this creates your ranking.
