I think I'd agree that the talent is performing better in the AFC right now.

The Cardinals look better than they are mainly because their opponents have been largely terrible. Dallas performance today was absolutely astonishingly bad, it's irritating that it was 14-10 for eons before it finally broke open towards the end. But they are near the bottom of the league against the pass, and if they played a decent team in a game that mattered, they'd get absolutely burned to the ground.

I think a late rally by Philly, Dallas, or New Orleans will go farther than the Cardinals will.

Honestly looking at the NFC right now, I think Seattle and Green Bay are the teams to beat, if their health holds up and they solidify certain aspects. Fundamentally they are tough groups of people with pretty good coaching and the right capacity to explode in a game, which is what you need to keep up with a big-game offense show like the Broncos or Patriots can light up.

The problem with the AFC is the non-Broncos/Patriots teams are mostly REALLY _REALLY_ erratic.

SD? lost 3 games in a row, including being shut out by Miami. #Dead.
Houston? No QB.
Buffalo? Good luck in that division.
Bungles? Nope.
Ravens/Steelers? Inconsistent to the max, but capable of becoming a threat in December possibly.
Colts? Maybe if their defense stiffens.
Chiefs? Terrible on the road.
etc.
