I actually agree with pretty much all of this.
And, to use this as a trampoline, I'll say I think some companies may use temp. price cuts in order to meet some sort of amount sold in a certain time frame which really isn't good business practice. Instead of using temporary price cuts companies should try to deliver good mass market games while still working under the original price and, when time comes that the price cut will still be profitable, then they should permanently drop it.
