If the exclusive marketing was a huge factor as opposed to giving the game for free explain to me why standalone games sold more on the Xbox One? You can keep ignoring months upon months of data all you want including the failed effect of a drop in $100 entry level, official price drops in EU, previous bundles including TF that still made no long term impact and then pretend as if the PS4 and Sony will do nothing this holiday in terms of deals and pretend the Xbox One will have its own grand ole' time....but that isnt logical.

The Xbox One has ALWAYS had better games at retail (IMO) than the PS4. Forza, Dead rising, titanFall. Has always had more bundles (Madden, TitanFall) with the games given for free. None of these variables have changed. To expect them to all of sudden make a difference, when we already have months of data that prove they simply do not, is ludicrous.

because dudebros and bungie fans on xb1?
the one week promo did decent for the xb1 no doubt. but it has no the impact a 2 month picedrop has in the holiday season along with 4 diffrent bundle skus

Again, the sales and variables do not exist in a vacuum. MSFT has been doing this all year without moving the needle. Youre acting as if the holiday season only exists for MSFT. Bundles have been plentiful and have not moved the needle all year for MSFT. A $100 reduction in entry price for the One did not move the needle. You need to stop looking at the market as if MSFT is the only company that will both A) offer deals and B) benefit from holiday sales.

The best thing MSFT has going for it are its frequent and beefy updates to system software and finally demphasizing Kinect. These are long term different philosophical approaches that will benefits the One, but not this holiday. The bundles and price drop are simply to stay alive and relevent so that these important shifts can take hold and effect long term sales as people begin to see compelling reasons why they should choose the One over a PS4 or in addition to their PS4. This holiday season is not the time for that shift but MSFT is laying the groundwork.
