So does anyone remember when the PS4 sold nearly double the Xbox One even when during Destiny week MSFT was giving away a free game of choice? I mean possibly even 2 if someone bought an Xbox One bundle and still was able to choose a free game. The PS4 Destiny bundle wasn't even offering the game free (okay a $10 discount).
And thsi was just the US. Coming up there will be teh GTA 5 bundle overseas, and MSFT has already played their big holiday hand (a temporary 3 month price cut, WTF is that).
So all it took for Sony to double MSFT sales was to put a game in a box with the console and sell it at a $10 discount and still $50 more than an Xbox with 2 free games, including the game Sony was offering....... yeah lets just take a step back here folks.
EDIT: and before people jump on my post for including PS4 in this discussion about Xbox One sales. The industry does not exist in a vaccuum. Sales will depend on competition as they are finite. Poor WiiU sales and Xbox One sales conttribute to higher PS4 sales and vice versa due to the market itself. So how the Xbox One sells in relation to the PS4 is an appropriate variable.
