Even though I always was convinced that the PC is in every way a leap ahead of the consoles during this gen, I really start to doubt if that will matter. I probably going to catch hell for this but so be it. But hear me out, multiplatform titles will always look better on pc as will large world RPG´s. But games like driveclub and Infamous Second Son have proven to me that a console game can look better than a pc game. One of the best examples remain the definitive edition of tomb raider, which actually looks better on next gen, than on max settings pc. People saying this gen will be maxed out soon are wrong, this gen won´t be maxed out anytime near since pc itself has never even be close to be used efficiently, due to the many setups.

So how about some proof. Infamous second son

Versus Watch Dogs Max

So I think it´s pretty safe to say that the graphics of (exclusive) console games can actually get close to most PC games, mostly because no-one cares about optimizing for the platform, but that is none of my concern. With games like Halo 5 and Uncharted 4 and the order which will probably run in 30fps, the graphics will come close to most pc games, which are in most cases lazy ports. Do you think this gen will remain some sort of close to pc graphics due to the better artistically stylized exclusives or will pc overrun consoles in about a year when it comes to graphic and it will be ps360 versus pc all over again.

Or and this is a dangerous option, graphics on pc will be better but are just a bit extra and consoles looks damn acceptable. In the theorie that consoles have made their last graphical leap, because double the power won't mean much more than more AA, a bit better shadows and a higher resolution.
