It's been said so many times here that the numbers should be taken to be within 15% of the exact number, that they have parts which are based on guesswork so there can be that amount out, Saying the ps4 was at 9million when it was infact at 10m is perfectly within what is offered by the numbers here.
All numbers here should have this kept in mind tho, and that is the only slip up that people make on this forum a lot of the time, if there is a week where the Xbox is above the ps4 by a few k you see people pointing out that it's most likely overtracked (which to be fair it happens frequently) but as soon as the numbers are shifted around and the Ps4 is ahead by a few hundred/thousand systems out of 100k+ people then think ps4 wins again o/ but since the numbers have a 10-15% inaccuracy with them that might not be the case at all, but when the numbers are in people favour they tend to forget that inaccuracy exists, makes for some shitty threads at times.
