So, I'm one of those people who has loved Hyrule Warriors. But part of that is a curious thing I've noticed.

Sometimes, when there's a lot of foes on-screen that you attack all at once, the framerate takes quite a significant hit... and yet, somehow that's something that seems to add to the feel of the game. It's almost like the game is going into slowdown to further emphasise what's happening, rather than just a matter of the game engine reaching its limit.

Has anybody else come across this feeling, either in Hyrule Warriors, or in another game? The feeling that framerate issues actually help, rather than harm, the feel of a game?
