What does that have to do with anything?  The Bayonetta situation wasn't about the limitations of the PS3, it was about Sega and Platinum screwing up badly.  The only thing it came be used as proof of is that they released a bad product, which they've said themselves.  It would be dishonest to suggest otherwise.

Did it escape your notice that I put a ";)" after the comparison, hence indicating it was not a serious assessment of the relative power of the two machines?

Having said that, Digital Foundry did note that Bayonetta likely would have suffered on PS3 even if it hadn't been a hackjob, as it's technical makeup heavily favoured the strengths of the Xbox 360.
