I dunno, XC is a classic controller game after all, most Wii games aren't.
SMG doesn't seem probable at least. A good part of the gameplay involves aiming at the screen, especially in 2.

Couldn't the aiming parts be dublicated with the use of the stylus?

They may however aim to remake gamecube games for the new 3ds. I would think that a Metroid Prime 1 and 2 remake would be a nice way to experience the New 3ds.

It could but you would probably have complaints like people had with Kid Icarus Uprising, due to the heavy usage. I think Xenoblade is just a test run for the hardware, we might see maybe  2-3 ports but the next Nintendo handheld system is where we will get out mini Wii classic gaming on.

Personally, aside from seeing ports of No More Heroes 1&2, I would love to see Capcom put out remakes of the Resident Evil rail shooters duology, Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles on the New 3DS hopefully with online multiplayer.

The increased power may have more to do with Nintendo want to make 3ds versions of wiiu games like they did successfully with Smash Bros. With a better cpu I would imagine this procress is going to be easier. Would be cool to enable cross buy and cloud saves. If I could pay an extra 15 bucks to get the next zelda on wiiu and 3ds with cloud saves it would be great. Typically Nintendo's final revision is all about testing what they want to do with their next successor.

They could make 3DS versions of Wii U game even without the power, the key is to handicap either the Wii U version (see seperation of in battle transformation characters  and no more Ice Climbers) or downgrade the 3DS version. While the increased power will help, I honestly can't see Nintendo going down the path of cross buy, outside of maybe if they increase their eShop connectivity to enable players to play digital games on both platforms that they but for an extra cost. But Nintendo doing cloud saves probably means that like the Pokemon Bank, you are paying extra for that service on top of any game purchases.
