All games this gen needs to be 1080p... I expected that from PS360 gen and needed to accept 720p and even sub-720p.

Now it is a new gen that the minimum acceptable is 1080p... anything below that is non buy.

That is my opinion and we we are moving to 4k already.

And high resolution does look better in every case... you can get the same game with the same graphica features in 1080p and 900p... the 1080p will always look better.

Now about the good game part I agree.


fair  enough but both consoles are not built to be 1080p without having tradeoffs. I rather have 900p game , with a higher graphci fidelity, beter A I more partical effects, more AI  stable 30fps with no drops of screen tearing  then a 1080p with graphical sacrifice and fluctuating frame rae , especially with some that try to reach 60fps.  Just because we have 4k , doesn't necessarily mean everything else has to be 1080p. if it was more powerful then what we have then yes 1080 should be for all games but if the consoles are not strong enough then 900p is fine. difference between that from what i hav e seen is small..
