Something tells me you wouldn't have the same sentiments had this been a Wii thread celebrating a lead on the PS2, in the same time frame. But maybe I'm wrong. 

Then again, I'm all for crediting what's current. The Wii doesn't need to be credited again, especially when talking about PS4 sales.

My sentiments are clear. I'm in awe by the Wii numbers, which is writed in my comment. Wherever you want to see behind it is not my problem.

And I don't see what's the problem with it considering the Wii is mentioned directly in the OP. There's no especific time to recognize the great and succesful machines, like the Wii.
