it was laughable last gen in a lot of situations. i wasn't posting these types of threads last gen nor was I shitting on 360 or ps3 for having lesser versions that were barely noticable when compared with one another. This stuff is fine to discuss hoestly, it's just the level of relevancy you guys are giving such small differences is ridiculous in my opinion.

In what case was it not laughable last time, then? I mean, this gen hasn't just been about 25-50% differences in resolution (sorry, but that isn't negligible). Plus, if they didn't matter, DF would have no need to make the analysis' that they do. But, alas, they are here, and obviously, these matter to plenty of people.

Why is it so hard for folks to just ignore this topic if it really ruffles their feathers like this?!

Just because I say somethings ridiculous doesn't mean my feathers are ruffled lol I obviously just think these kind of topics are getting old.The point of these threads are to discuss anyway so I don't see the issue.

Digital foundry is gonna make analysis on any difference no matter how small, it's their job and I accept their gonna have topics for most multiplat games (they need that traffic). Still just because they posted an article about some differences doesnt make the differences all that important or mean that the differences are major.
