Im talking about the nonsensical story. Of course I am a hack n slash player and Bayonetta (of course its one of my favorite hack n slashes ever)was a challenging one but it is known for the fact that you have to put the story to the side. God of War balanced the action with the presentation into one cohesive unit, which is why it became the package the it became. Bayonetta is underrated and lacks because of it but it has its own beauty and charm. This is why I cannot wait to play Bayonetta 2. Its the spiritual successor to DMC and does it in a way that would make even DMC blush. Neither games had great stories nor did they rely on them, but rather the stylish look and style of the characters. It was the attitude that made them stand out in their respective eras. Kratos....Kratos is just a beast.

I actually enjoyed the story in the Bayonetta games because it was nonsensical.

Its outrageously over-the-top moments and characters were highly entertaining to me, and I loved its sense of humour and how playful and sassy it was. I liked it the same way I like movies like Inglourious Basterds or The Big Lebowski.

Ugh, that's just insulting to films like the big lebowski and inglorious basterds, and the word story.

High praise as far as I'm concerned, to be associated with the two finest works in their genre and medium.
