Word of advice. When you're confused, and you know it, don't assume someone is doing something wrong and adopt an accusatory tone.

I am talking about when PSN cards were not available in Europe (on the PS3) and they finally launched...resulting in pent-up demand, and high sales on relevant Amazon stores.

Given this was years ago, it has absolutely nothing to do with the PS4, or Sony's success.

Word of advice, do not be condescending to other people when you are obviously wrong....

Again, OP is talking about US Amazon and US PSN Cards... As it was obvious from the .com extension and the amounts denominated in US dollars. To everybody except you who started going on tangents talking about Europe, and other stuff completely irrelevant to the topic...

It might well be true that there was some pent-up demand in Europe last year, but how that would actually translate to current US sales is the part where I am confused.... Confused that anyone can actually compare those two...

And as this is currently, it obviously has everything to do with the PS4 and Sony's success. It is just appalling how some people just cannot accept that. And as soon as something positive is said about Sony, even something so benign as this (to paraphrase OP: "It's great that Sony sells a lot of digital stuff!") there must be an immediate backlash from people trying to downplay it:

(to paraphrase) "No, US cards are not selling well, it's just that Europeans bought many cards last year"

See, that's why it is confusing, not only to me, but also to anyone with even an ounce of logic...

You being a moderator is even more appaling, to me is saddening to see an authority figure so strongly biased toward one side, choosing to swing his weight and his title often to engage in condescening conversations with other members, giving them "advice" when all they needed to do is stay out of the topic if they had nothing to contribute but misinformation and insults.

Mate, just take a breath for a second.

The thread is about PSN Card sales on Amazon. Whilst the OP links to the US Amazon, it doesn't actually specify anywhere that this is a US only discussion. Quite contrary to your belief, my comment was recognition that PSN sales are strong everywhere. I simply pointed out that PSN card sales have consistently been high in Europe ever since their launch years ago during the PS3's tenure.

Indeed, at no point did I ever specify anything to do with the US market.

As for swinging my weight around, the only person so far in this thread to use the word moderator, is you.
