The cut part I'll give ya. But the second part, the bolded part, really? You actually take marketing at face value? Does this mean that you believe the apples they sell at McDonald's are the epitome of healthy for a child? Come on. Everyone is going to talk up their product. Every movie trailer, even the one for a movie like Batman and Robin, tells you it is going to be the most amazing movie experience you are gonna see. Games are taking the same approach these days.
Regarding the on-disc video, that doesn't tell me that the DLC is accessible. That tells me that an area they intend to use later for DLC is available. Using the same McDonald's analogy from before: you are using the empty building they haven't yet put the equipment and furnishings in to tell me they are deliberately not selling you fries for malicious purposes. Now, if the DLC is a 128kb download that "unlocks" everything later, that is when this becomes an actual issue.
