I don't think so, it's just that Kratos is equal to or more powerful than anyone or anything opposing him, the Gods all put up a fair fight. Remember Kratos isn't a mere mortal, he's a demigod, the son of Zeus himself. Also throughout the series it's the Gods & Titans who aid Kratos, giving him powers & items, saving him from death, giving him advice etc. Naturally with all that help if anybody could kill Gods and Titans, it's Kratos. Once you stop being uptight about its accuracy in relation to the source material and accept that the story is just a contemporary fantasy loosely based on Greek mythology, it becomes a lot more enjoyable. It's a 'what if' alternate version of Greek mytho, the Gods loved to bully and torment mortals, what if one day the Gods messed with the wrong 'mortal' and as a result of their hubris they created the very force that would ultimately bring an end to the tyrannical rule of the Olympians. Just my two pennies' worth. :) |
It's not just the inaccuracy that I hate about it, but the fact that he hates the gods for making him kill his wife, yet has sex with every woman he sees like they're hookers. It boggles my mind how Kratos would betray his wife like that.
