So you think Nintendo will do that?  What makes you think that?  When wil it happen (aprox)?



It's just speculation. Even a company as set in their ways as Nintendo should be able to see that the gamepad adds nothing to the experience but expense, and in its primary function as a controller is in fact sub par. I don't think it would be too hard to make most games work without it. I'm guessing they could announce the slim early next year and rebrand it as the "wii 2" and have a relaunch at e3 2015. With that and a good showing from zelda, they could really turn things around.
