Yep, good point. As long as they keep selling their software and get as many new Wii U owners as possible then breaking even on it is definitely possible.


That's just my most conservative take. That's not factoring in things like the digital marketplace, something Nintendo didn't have in place until the Wii and didn't take seriously until this generation, and amiibo, which could be a huge boon for its ecosystem.
