So you really think that after two years on the market and one price cut, the Wii U isn't making a profit per unit sold when, before the console even launched, Iwata implied the Wii U would be profitable after one or two retail games are purchased with it?

Makes me wonder what your point was in the first place then. Software sales are the primary cash cow of a console, and licensing fees aren't nearly as much of a money sink as getting the console out of the door and getting production costs of it out of the red.
