The only thing I disagree with is saying the Bayonettas and Devil's Turd are system sellers. Regardless, they are important games for the Wii U's lineup. Every game doesn't have to be a "system seller" that will get millions of consumers who are on the fence or not considering a console at all to buy in. A console manufacturer has to ensure their customers who purchased its system is being fed a steady diet of a variety of games to feel justified in their purchase. If not, the manufacturer runs the risk of losing consumers in the next console generation.
The Bayonettas and DT ( games like The Wonderful 101) aren't about selling systems, they're about satiating the people who bought the Wii U and making sure they continue to receive valuable software. If Nintendo didn't make investments like this, I would be far less satisfied with my Wii U and consider going with a different console manufacturer this generation or the next, because I would feel like Nintendo's not trying hard enough for me. This is the argument you hear in every single Vita thread.
