With the original 3DS, it seems that porting Wii games to 3DS was a little difficult cos of the raw power disparity.

Nintendo reckon that the faster CPU on the New 3DS made a conversion of Xenoblade doable, so could the next logical step be to port others?

Nintendo are having trouble supporting both 3DS and Wii U at once due to insuifficient manpower. Could their solution be to fill the gaps in 3DS's schedule with cheap and easy Wii ports? That would be less costly than making just as many ground-up games, but better than extended periods with no games at all.

Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 could be prime candidates, for instance.
