Why is PS4 still outselling the X1 in America?

the ps3 would have done the same if it didnt launch  a year later , that is why ms launch earlier , because they didnt want this to happen . sony caught ms off gaurd with the launch in 2013 nov. ms did not see that coming heck i dont think anyone did.
