At this rate, my PS4 prediction is utterly screwed... One and Wii U should be good though. The Xbox has quite simply failed to pick up significant enough steam to allow for a smaller piece of the pie for the PS4. The Wii U is trudging miles and miles behind, I honestly cannot fathom how anyone in their right mind can still think it will hold 2nd place throughout the 8th gen; that would probably entail the One selling quite a bit less than 20 million units lifetime, which means they will have to discontinue it before the holidays 2015.
The numbers are all over the place in here now, up and down and adjustments in the 50% + category, I don't think I've ever seen such a large adjustment for a non-holiday week in my 7 years in here. At this point; I'm expecting some record post-holiday adjustments as well, I hope no one is planning on settling bets or placing faith in exact final numbers for 2014 until at least the end of January.
