The reason I don't have PS+, right here, folks....
and, I still bought games I don't want to play.
LA NOIRE. Five bucks. On sale.... Didn't wanna pass it up. Sits on my PS3's HDD. Never actually played it
Dragon Age: Origins: Five bucks, on sale... sits on my PS3's HDD. Never actually played it.
Hitman: Absolution: 7 dollars. Sits on my PS3's HDD. Played it once for about 5 minutes. Never touched it again.
GTAIV: 5 Bucks. On my PS3's HDD. Don't want the game. Have to force myself to play it.
There are others, which I cannot think of at this moment, however... 7 Games, on my PS3, which I have either not played, or played less than 10 minutes. That only includes disc based games. I also have Trine 2, and Braid. Neither of which I even play. Then, Retrocity Rampage is another. 30 PS1 titles. Only 4 of which I paid the full price of 5.99 for. The rest were .99-2.50.
Tomb Raider (2012, or whatever year it came out) was 10 dollars just 3 weeks ago. Best 10 bucks I ever spent. You think I'm going to use PS Now, when I can already buy full disc based games out the same PS Store for under 10 bucks? It's a rip off...
To add to that, I have nearly every PS3 game I've ever wanted, thanks to these sales. There's only about 5 more games left I want to get on the console. Two of which are disc-only.
Unless I can get games on PSNow at like... 1 dollar a week, I wont bother with the service. The sales are the better deal.
Sales even have red box and gamefly beat.
