I wouldn't use a retailer nor the back of the case as reference. Unless it specifically states "native" all it says it that it is supported on 1080p TVs via upscaling. The case says 720p. And Gamestop lists 480i, 480p,720p, 1080i.

Pretty safe to assume that it's 720 native.
