Originality: I never played the previous two cybertron games but, from what I have seen from watching my brother play one of them on the ps3 years ago, this game appears to be practically identical in terms of combat. In this case, I actually really enjoyed the combat in this game, as well as the story, and the visuals but none of it is what I would considered to be “unique” or “original.” That being said, it’s still refreshing to play a 3rd person game with a decent amount of quality due to the lack of 3rd person games in comparison to FPS games.

Graphics: There are various glitches at point in this game but when the graphics are fully displayed past those moments the game is fairly pretty. It’s not Bayonetta or Darksiders in my opinion, but the graphics are nice.

Art Style: This game has a good art style, but not a revolutionary one. I really don’t have much to say about its art style other than that it fits well with the universe of the movies and the previous games.

Story: I’m surprised! I actually enjoyed this story quite a bit! I loved how it connected the previous games with the movies and advanced the overall plotline. I haven’t actually seen Age of Extinction yet but this game has made me interested in seeing it (I have no doubt it will be of Michael Bay’s typical quality level…). My main complaints about the story is the fact that the really important parts of it were extremely short, the ending of the game felt very “blah,” and the game itself was so short and so full of fighting endless drones that there really wasn’t much time spent in the game with character development. Other than those things, I did enjoy this games story, but it was no masterpiece.

Game Interface: No complaints.

Controls easy and fluid or difficult and rigid? Controls were easy!

Is it fun? Yes it was! With so many different characters, play styles for different weapons, and the DINO… woops spoiler… well anyway the game had enough options in it to make it a lot of fun. I was disappointed by the amount of random enemies you have to destroy before getting to significant characters, however. It always seems like the shows and movies from this series have a “war” going on between a small amount of characters but then these games show up with all these nameless transformers. This makes me confused, but it was fun!
