I do find it amusing how unaware some people are about things.  Forza is a game with legs, not a front-loaded seller.

Anyways back to the OP, as others has mentioned, VGC pre-orders.  MCC alone should show how off they can be at times.

Not that I agree with the guy at all....but weren't Forza 2, 3, 4, Horizon and 5 all heavily bundled? Forza 2 was sold with almost every 360 at one point, Forza 3 was bundled with Halo: ODST officially, and holiday bundled with other games in 2009. Forza 4 was holiday bundled in many places as well. Same with Horizon, and it was an official holiday bundle too (not just certain retailers tossing the game in for free). Holidays being the highest sales period of the year benefited these games. And Gen 7 console sales were waning in 2012, so you consequently saw comparatively lower sales for Horizon.  Forza 5 was bundled throughout this year to spur XBone sales before they ultimately dropped Kinect (even though the Kinect + Forza 5 bundle can still be found). You can see the drop off for Forza 5 (as related to total Xbone sales).

Again, I don't agree with the guy you replied to, it's just that Forza is a bad example to defend. It's not a game with legs. It's a game with millions of copies given away for free.
