UK it probably going to be different to the US, I'd guess. As in the US, Amazon is the online retailer while here in the UK there are a number of competitive alternatives... right?

GAME I think is still the biggest games retailer in the UK with about 30%. The issue is, I can't find any games only market share values, just Entertainment. Amazon wins there and HMV is coming back to 2nd place, GAME (in this article below) make up 7% of entertainment market share yet it's pretty much games only. http://www.kantarworldpanel.com/en/Press-Releases/Latest-entertainment-retailer-market-share

The only article I found with any amazon market share in games only was from 2012 around the time GAME and HMV were bankrupt and it mentions 9%. I'd say it's less than that now, with retailers like Tesco and Asda always in competition, GAME back from the brink and online retailers like Shopto.net taking over from the once strong Play.com
