The disc drive isn't even running past the disc check. There is no noise from it. The fan system has to be updated to reduce the noise.

Sounds nearly impossible... The PS4 is the most attractive machine I've ever seen.

They can get rid of the stupid slant. Put back actual buttons. Since they didn't learn from annoying mis-triggers the PS3 fat did. I've shut off my PS4 many times just ejecting soemthing. Or plugging in my USB cable for charging.

True. Though still cheaper obviously. I suppose the fan does have to be able to deal with the disc drive running as you can play while it's still installing
