You know what'd really give Bayo 2 the extra push it needs...

Yes I know that should be free in the eShop anyway -- but there's probably some BS technical reason they could put out why they couldn't do that.
As Nintendo, you want to create a major hype bandwagon. Bayo 2 has one all its own, as does Smash. But if you can catalyze them together you can see some real benefit. You'll make the hordes of Smash fans buy Bayo 1 + 2, which they'll only complain about up until the point they end up playing Bayo 2. And I don't see Bayo 2 fans objecting to getting exclusive early access to Smash.
Do you think Bayo 2's release timing and the Smash Direct are any coincidence??
