Why did PS3 owners accept lazy ports?

This is the problem right here. They did have a choice of buying a 360...but brand loyalty is more important than quality these days.

Sony has an equal dose of multiplats to Microsoft. The ports were slightly better on the 360 and the PS3 had its exclusives which performed generally better than the competition. There was a draw back to owning the PS3 which gave great exclusives with decent multiplats. If you werent up for comparison most were good though. As long as they were available most wont care. Its really the minority who finds a reason to complain.
