I definitely agree with the OP statement, but...
Doesn't Q4 starts in October?
If yes, then PS4 has 7M Q1/2/3 and XB1 has 2.7M Q1/2/3.
So, by your math, that would mean end of 2014: 18.4M for PS4 and XB1 8.5M.
