Sony choose the pricetag of the PS3, not Nintendo
Sony choose to leave the mainstream marked for the so called "hardcore/technophiles market" , evidence price and features for both, the market and the devs (Making hard to dev the shovelware featured in the PS2 and PS)
Ninty keep a nice entry price point for both themarket and the devs
Ninty found a way to atrack the mainstream market
The whole 399>249 olny shows how bad the Sony choices were, and how they are struggling to attrack the same market that they choose to ignore early in the gen...
The 399>249 argument is just damage control (Like Zen said), it was Sony fault and they are paying for it...
