Where are u getting those numbers. according to Iwata in Marxh of this year he said it still cost more to make a Wii U than they can sell them for- Maybe the $180 # is the basis they have in this fiscal years inventory die to writing off a bunch from last year at a loss but they are still not breaking even on newly manufactured consoles
the $228# mentioned above for manufacture before shipping R and D and marketing makes sense
