Gamepad has lots of empty space.
If they diminish the screen and optimise the size, it can look more like a regular control.
Also 480p for that screen is a low standard for DPI for nowadays screens.
I would like to see a all new smaller gamepad with a screen of size of top 3DSXL screen.
It wouldnt drop the sku price too much, though...
